Crown Mountain Farms Animal Fibers - Angora

Like the Angora goat, this small creature originally came from the Ankara region of Turkey-eventually spreading to the United States sometime after the early 1900's. Angora fiber is either plucked, combed or shorn and is often blended with wool. When spun alone or with other fibers, Angora adds a soft halo to the finished product.
