A remarkably unique spindle, the Turkish drop spindle design originates in Turkey. Spinners of all skill levels will enjoy this wonderful tool. You can make center pull "muffins" to ply together. There is no need for a nostapenne.

We offer these spindles in 13 different woods. The weight of the wood determines the speed of the spinning. Heavier weight spindles are good for silk and short staple length fibers. Lighter weight woods are useful for any other fiber.
